Playing Games Online at Work

We have all got one or two browser games online that we are addicted to, a puzzle game or a shooter or a platformer or a racing game that we can always load up, any time of day, and waste tens of minutes playing. Now, we do not want to be responsible for any consequences that result from playing games at work, we are going to say: do not play games at work. That said, if you can not help but waste company time on your favorite browser games, here are a couple of tips for not getting caught!

Keep Your Work Open
This way, when your boss walks by, you can disengage from shooting terrorists or ramping bikes off of cliffs and click your word processor or spreadsheets open and pretend you've been working all this time.

Save Your Progress
If you're playing a game that lets you save your progress, be sure to save it every now and then so that you can exit it without fear of losing your place in the game when someone comes by.

Play With The Sound Low
If you play with headphones, you won't be able to hear your boss asking you what the heck you think you're doing. Just play with the volume down low so nobody hears the sound of alien ships being blown to pieces when you're supposed to be organizing the payroll folders.

Basically just use common sense and your Ninja Skills, and as a last resort, just announce "I'm taking my break now so I can work through lunch!" it makes it sound like you're working hard instead of hardly working.
